Genshin Impact Amber guide – the best build.. Unfortunately for Genshin Impact’s Amber, she has a reputation for being a particularly weak playable character. In saying this, you receive the bow-wielding pyro character very early on in the game, meaning – with the right build – she can keep you going until you receive a more powerful character from a wish.

Genshin Impact’s Amber is best suited to a DPS role, so our guide will provide details on which weapons and artifacts to use in order to boost her damage output. We’ll also outline her ascension cost, so if you choose to play her long-term, you’ll know which items need to be saved.

WHICH WEAPON SHOULD YOU USE?

Our preferred weapon for Amber is The Stringless. This weapon increases elemental skill and elemental burst damage. Amos’ Bow is slightly rarer, but also provides a decent damage boost if you can get your hands on it.

Amos’ Bow Increases normal attack and aimed shot damage by 18%. For every 0.1 seconds that an arrow is in flight, damage is increased by 12%

WHICH ARTIFACT SET SHOULD YOU USE?

Equip the Noblesse Oblige set with The Stringless bow to increase Amber’s elemental burst damage by a huge amount. To help boost Amber’s pyro damage, the Crimson Witch of Flames works great.

Sharpshooter (plunging) Fires a shower of arrows from mid-air before striking the ground to deal AoE damage
Explosive Puppet (press) Throws an explosive Baron Bunny that taunts opponents, exploding on death, or expiration to deal AoE pyro damage. The Baron Bunny’s HP scales with max HP
Explosive Puppet (hold) Hold to adjust the throwing direction and distance of the Baron Bunny

Gliding Champion (unlocked automatically) Decreases gliding stamina consumption for all party members by 20%

WHAT ARE AMBER’S CONSTELLATIONS?

You’re likely to receive Amber a few times when making wishes, so it isn’t too hard to unlock her constellations. Here’s every bonus you’ll unlock.

One Arrow to Rule Them All Fires two arrows per aimed shot. The second arrow only deals 20% of the first arrow’s damage
Bunny Triggered Baron Bunny is manually detonated if you hit its foot with a fully-charged aimed shot. Manual detonation deals 200% additional damage
It Burns! Increases the level of Fiery Rain by three
It’s Not Just Any Doll… Decreases Explosive Puppet’s cooldown by 20% and adds one additional charge
It’s Baron Bunny! Increases the level of Explosive Puppet by three
Wildfire Fiery Rain increases movement speed by 15% and base attack by 15% for ten seconds

WHAT DOES IT COST TO ASCEND AMBER?

Every time you ascend Amber, she gets a boost to her attack percentage. Make sure you save up the following items to ascend her as soon as possible.
